iPad and iPhone Artsy Apps!

Many artists these days are on the run and

 using apps has increased our productivity.

We all have our favorites but seem to return

to the ones we love the best.

Peggi Meyer Graminski & I (Lynne) came up with 

a short list of our favorite art apps to use on 

an iPhone or an iPad. If you have an iPad, 

the iPhone apps do work. 

Not all of them are free  & some have in-app 

purchases but I don't think I've ever spent 

more than $5 for any of these apps. 

So here's our list:

As long as you save your work, you can always 

open it up in another app and add to it. 

Some of these apps allow you to simply hop

from one app to another in their list 

but saving each semi-finished photo 

to your Camera Roll is the best course of action.

The photo at the top was created from scratch

in Master FX then saved & opened again

in Mystic. I might even open it in something else

to add some cool frame later on. If you use your

apps often enough, you know what each one does

so you can just keep adding until you get the

effect that you were hoping for.

I'm sure there are apps for the Android

so go take a look at the app store for

your particular device.
