Blessed Christmas Collage Sheet

Seems that we haven't even finished our
Halloween candy yet and thoughts are
already turning toward Christmas!
In my heart I believe in the miracle
of Christmas and celebrate the birth
of Jesus right along with family and
friends. I made these tags in honor
of that belief and hope that they
bring you joy as well. The sheet
can be purchased by going here
or to any of the links that you see
in the right column of this page.
Becky has also made some wonderful

A Free Collage Sheet For You!

Fall is here! The leaves are falling at a rapid rate
where I live so it's time for me to go raking. Below
you will find Becky's post that she wrote on her blog
and since she is the other half of MoonlightJourney,
I have stolen it from her and put it here...

Collage sheet by Becky Loyall

Please click on sheet and you will be taken to a
300 dpi page just right click and save to your
computer. This collage sheet is for personal use only.
You may sell the artwork you create but please
do not sell the original pieces in the middle in
a collage sheet or as a single.

The Falling of the Leaves
Autumn is over the long leaves that love us,
And over the mice in the barley sheaves;
Yellow the leaves of the rowan above us,
And yellow the wet wild-strawberry leaves.
The hour of the waning of love has beset us,
And weary and worn are our sad souls now;
Let us patt, ere the season of passion forget us,
With a kiss and a tear on thy drooping brow.
by William Butler Yeats

As Autumn is in it's last few weeks and the cooler
weather approaches I always feel the need to sit
by the fire and let my mind wander to those
places the creative energy flows from.
Lynne and I at Moonlight Journey have been
busy getting ready for the influx of Holiday Creating.
This collage sheet is for every one who feels that
creative spark approaching as the days grow
shorter and colder, the time when we have
an excuse to stay inside and create!
You can sign up at the right for our Newsletter
we send it out once a month.

Digital Elements from Lisa's Altered Art

Oh me, oh my!
I've been priviledged to be a Design Team member
at Lisa's Altered Art for a while now and always
get such a kick out of her designs. But I am really
thrilled that she has decided to sell her wonderful
art as Digital Packs. These packs contain png files
(all the backgrounds are transparent) so using them in
my digital art is a breeze. No more tedious extracting -
it's all done for us! If you love making scrapbook pages
or any other digital art, just click on the title of this
post to see the very first kit. I know other kits will follow
and I can't wait to get my artistic hands on them!

Photoshop For Beginners

I've written another e-class specifically
for those out there who are dying to
learn the ins & outs of Photoshop.
This class is for the beginner who knows
nothing about Photoshop but who wants
to learn it without weeping out loud.
It is written for Photoshop CS3 but will
work in other versions and Paint Shop Pro.
The tools are just about the same and once
you get the hang of where to find what,
you'll be more comfortable with your program.
This is a large lesson and shows you how to set
up a workspace, where to find the tools, what
palettes are for and touches on how to make layers.
You can get the instant download by clicking HERE.
I also put it on Etsy.
It's not on my website yet but it will be soon.
The cost for this lesson is $5. and since it
comes to you in .pdf format, you can
save it to your computer and keep it forever!

I have seen an advance copy of our monthly newsletter
and Becky outdid herself this time. What an issue she created
for your reading pleasure! Of course, this is our favorite time
of the year with Halloween fast approaching and Becky captured
the true essence of this wonderfully spooky season!

If you love our collage sheets but don't get our monthly
newsletter, please look to the right of this page and

(like, who has the time???) and we only send out our
newsletter once a month so your inbox will be just fine.

Until September is a mere memory -
have a very creative week!

Vampire Nights Collage Sheet

When I was about 10 years old
(that would be eons ago!)
my best friend & I would get
together once a week at his house.
His Mom would make homemade pizza
and we were allowed to watch
Chiller Theater. This was a very
grown-up thing to do because they
only showed horror movies. These
days, we call them "classics" -
no graphic violence like we have today
but you didn't need the blood & guts
to have the snot scared out of you.

The first time I saw Dracula starring
Bella Lugosi, I was scared out of my mind.
I slept with a towel wrapped around my neck
for weeks. But I did love Bella. His voice
so smooth and his eyes so frightening.

Thus began my love affair with vampires.
Throw in a Wolfman and I am in heaven.

This collage sheet is my interpretation
of the vampires of my nightmares and
my dreams. I hope you like them too
and they inspire you to do some
spooky art this Halloween season.

My Witchy Friends Collage Sheet

I managed to sneak in some artistic computer time
the other day (as opposed to "have to work for a living"
computer time) and this is what my Muse guided me
to make. Can you tell the mood I'm in lately?
When I make a collage sheet, I try to add things
that can be used alone or in collages. When I make
art, I love to have little bits & pieces handy so I can
"fill out" my collage. One can never have too many
little bits when creating art!
Hope you like this sheet. You can find it everywhere
but if you click the title of this post, you can go
to my website where you'll find lots of beautiful
collage sheets to use in your artistic endeavors.
